Dear Provider,

Effective January 1, 2009, Bayer brand glucometers are no longer being covered for members enrolled with WellCare. Members who are currently using Bayer brand testing supplies will still be able to receive them. However, all NEW prescriptions for glucometers and testing supplies must be written for one of our preferred products.
